Sunday, May 21, 2006 Giants and dwarves, kin of the mountains living in harmony... Then the giants wage war. Prying boulders from the mountains, destroying the dwarven homes; flinging them at each other, the falling debris devastating the dwarven clans. And Anger's bell rang. The hurled boulders impacted, and the giants bleed. Thus Anguish's bell rang. When blood rain from the skies and spurts from the ground, Apathy's bell rang, on and on.

Monday, May 01, 2006 Though star-blazed skies my mind contained, The solitude of night my heart concealed, Love's emotions were so fully restrained, Thus did I hide behind a self-made shield. And then you entered into my life, Bewildering feelings, dazed and confused, But you continued deeper like a knife, Until my hardness was thus subdued. What I never thought possible for me, You've done and that I'll always treasure, My heart burns fervent with love for thee, Our souls delight in each beyond all measure. And as you now place your sweet lips on mine, I know for certain I'm enraptured with an angel divine - simyuling91 Though sun-blazed skies my mind inflamed, The emptiness of day my heart reveal, Love's emotions were so fully unclaimed, Thus did I stride holding a seeker seal. And then you entered into my life, Bewildering feelings, raced and convulsed, And you continued deeper till all's strife Until my seal was thus shattered. What I never thought possible for me, You've done and that shall always endure, soaring on emotions you've set free, vortex of passion we swirl in pure rapture. And as you now place your sweet lips on mine, I know for certain your soul and mine has ultimately combine. - zeminith ___________________________________________________________________ thanks to your poem that inspires... your poem has abit of the "sweet surrender" theme in the phantom of the opera; also the gratefulness and savouring of the ardour discovered. Like the last two stanza lines best, hmm.... ha well, mine, i try for the turbulent climatic explosion of ardour after a long search..... __________________________________________________________________________________ ha, for some strange reason, i always feel like writing reply poems when i see a nice one. Though abit rusty have not tried since last year... How's this foray? :)
