Friday, May 29, 2009 The irony of feminism is that the proponents are rarely feminine. They adopt lots of masculine characteristic in their fight, which in essence corrupts them. Of course it may be social bias that such characteristics are "masculine" and this is then a demonstration of the falsehood. Equal rights? Equal opportunities. if one gender could do the work better in one vocation; the vocation would naturally slant its policies to promote that gender. Would this be meritocracy? In an state, there would be crime. It is unavoidable. How as administrator should we deal with it? Been playing the game nationstates.net and a recent issue gave an interesting suggestion: Colosseum, gladiator fights. 1) The risk of death/injury-> criminals are paying for their crime. The challenge can be moderated accordingly to severity of crime. 2) Criminals contribute back to society via providing entertainment. 3) Reduce the need to construct prisons, which saves alot on property. Imagine wasting land space for building prisons, a place that you dont want filled. 4) Criminals have a chance to redeem themselves and earn parole in a very classical and romantic fashion: Demonstrating the worth of their human spirit by defeating their opponents and surviving the ordeals. Hmm, of course this may results in super ninja gladiator villain criminals that dont fear the justice system due to their capability in the arena. Also the palatability of such blood fest to the general public... Hmm, it could be modify to challenges instead of pure bloody fights with beasts opponents and otherwise. Maintain the ideal of discovering the worth of their human spirit. SAW like challenges? Labels: My Dominion
