Tuesday, June 08, 2010 Escapade, explosion... Dominion finals, was a well, say, i was careless in the first round. Made up for it in the next two, got to semi. Too relaxed in the final... though cos everyone was cheerful, and the competitive spirit vanish... But still, let's say i bombed... Sigh. 1st and 4th is from TGiG; yay! carcassone. I would say i played well, very well. But boomed due to luck. as fate would have it, the final tile turned me from 1st position to last, making me lose my shot at semi-finals. (38 point castle shared by 3 players ): One lost due to lack of skill, composure, discipline One lost due to luck, despite great play... Hmm, forced to play werewolves with little kids, had silly time with ala carte and architect. Learnt Vampire: The Eternal Struggle and Thunderstone. Play two full day of games. Escapade, explosion... Secretly, wanted it to be a brief escapade from life; but well, explosions thoughout. Sorry for worrying loved ones... Went a crazy from the tiring days... Screams into the pillow... Thursday, June 03, 2010 working day 01. I must say it is much more relaxing as compared to the other. Hmm, two nagging negatives. 1) Failed to teach cashflow properly 2) Did not initiate a what could be a presumptuous statement: "sir, I would like to introduce this game to you; which I believe your child would like" well, there's something special when you successfully manage to give someone a toy they especially like; but that desire was tone down in view of not offering unsolicited suggestions that may irritate. Positives: 1) learnt some nice games, to share with close pals and Dearpy. 2) Introed Dragon Inn to an appreciative audience. 3) On the fly modification of Werewolves to nice results. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I must say it felt pretty good when someone appreciates your kind efforts and take the effort to thank, complement you. Still, there's more to forge for, onwards! Labels: daily life
